Our products

Why are your vitamins different than others?

Our vitamins don't look anything like other vitamins, due to our innovative dosage form. Our films are made out of algae and designed to dissolve upon contact with wet surface, such as the inside of the cheek or palate.

As the nutrients loaded on the film are intended to being directly absorbed into systemic circulation, potential degradation in gastrointestinal tract and first pass effect can be avoided.

The films have high transportability, are easy to consume, and have a pleasant taste.

These properties make our films suitable for people who are on the move, and people who dislike swallowing pills. They are also ideal for bedridden patients, or patients suffering from Parkinsons or nausea and vomiting.

Low dosages facilitate dose accuracy in comparison to high dosage pills.

What do they taste?

Vitamins films are in general way more pleasant to consume than traditional vitamin pills. We want people to actually enjoy taking their vitamins. Like our customers, we really can’t stomach acid reflux and giant pills.

Although flavor never was our prime focus, we've added flavors to our products - in response to customer demand:

Immune System comes with subtle minty flavor
Bone Support has a lemon flavor
Caffeine comes with the taste of minty licorice

When to use?

Caffeine – whenever you need a fast-acting boost; before a job interview, in a race, during a show and on other occasions when you don’t want to spill and / or run to the bathroom.

For Immune System and Bone Support follow instructions on our packaging, and adjust according to diet.

Keep one cassette of each at home, in your purse, pocket, car, gym bag and at work. Use whenever it is convenient.

How to take them?

Place a film on the inside of the cheek or in palate. Leave it. It dissolves within 2 – 4 minutes. No water necessary.

For maximal absorption, we recommend that you don’t drink for 30 minutes after applying the films.

When to take them?

You can take all of your supplements at once, or spread them throughout the day. Whatever and whenever is most convenient for you.

How and where should I store my vitamins?

Our vitamins are best stored in a cool, dark, and dry place, away from your little ones. Keep away from heat or direct sunlight.

Our neat packaging lets you keep a cassette in your pocket, purse, at your desk etc.

Can I trust your products?

The films are made of an alginate extracted from organic sea algae harvested from the coast of Norway. They are produced according to food supplement regulations, and third party tested.

We develop products we want to take ourselves.
We also make products for our sisters, brothers, friends and mothers. Which might explain our obsession with quality.

Where are the products manufactured?

The products are manufactured in Sweden, Stockholm, by an innovative lab manufacturing pharmaceuticals and vitamin based beauty products for Swedish pharmacies.

Films vs pills?

As the nutrients are intended to be directly absorbed into systemic circulation, degradation in gastrointestinal tract and first pass effect can be avoided.

When you consume a traditional pill, it first has to be digested and metabolized through the liver or kidney through what is called the ‘first-pass’ effect. If any of these systems are off (because of a medical condition, like in someone with leaky gut syndrome) the supplement can be even less effective. It also takes time before the supplements are distributed in the body, as the body has to wait for the circulatory system to distribute whatever gets through.

The gums, cheeks and under the tongue are sites rich in capillary networks that may allow vitamins and herbs to pass quickly into the bloodstream. So not only will more of the pure substance be put to its intended use in the body, but placing vitamin films directly into your mouth can make them work faster too.

Are your products suitable for vegans?

Caffeine is 100% vegan.

Immune System and Bone Support both contain cholecalciferol. So short story, not vegan.

Long story: There are two types of vitamin D supplements available on the market. The first one, which is commonly recommended as suitable for vegans and vegetarians, is known as ergocalciferol (vitamin D2). The second, and much more popular form of vitamin D, is known as cholecalciferol (vitamin D3).

The question whether cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) is suitable for vegans and vegetarians is not easy to answer. First of all, cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) doesn’t have anything to do with neither meat nor dairy as it is derived from sheep’s wool by purifying lanolin (wool grease). More important, however, is the fact that this lanolin goes through so many processes and purifications that the final product is actually a pure chemical (cholecalciferol).

However, since cholecalcipherol (vitamin D3) is still linked to an animal (as it is initially derived from the wool) some manufacturers have decided to compromise a little and state that it is suitable for vegetarians, excluding vegans. We leave it up to you to decide by giving you this information. While we're at it we'd like to mention that a vegan-friendly source of vitamin D3 do exist (lichen), however this version is not compatible with our technology.

We are working hard on finding a way to make these products as kind to animals as possible, and one day soon we hope to answer plain "yes" to this question.

Where can I find more information about ingredients?

You will find in depth information about active ingredients in our products under “Research”.

How do I know that Iā€™m taking the right dosage?

Our products are in accordance to requirements and recommendations by the Norwegian Ministry of Health and The Norwegian Food Safety Authority. You can be certain that you’re not getting more than recommended by following instructions on the packaging.

Also, the active ingredient dosage per film in low, which allows you to better adjust your supplement consumption according to daily diet.

Who should take these supplements?

It was designed for everybody above age of 11! That's not to say it couldn't help those outside that range, but we'd suggest checking in with a physician first to be sure your needs are addressed.

What are the health concerns?

We recommend you consult with your physician about adding anything into your diet. Vitamin supplements have the potential to interact with several types of medications. As for our caffeine product, like any product that contains caffeine, you should not use our caffeine product if you are pregnant, nursing or under the age of 11, if you have had a physician tell you to avoid caffeine, or if you are sensitive to caffeine. You should also not exceed our maximum amount recommended per day. In general, if you are taking a supplement, make sure the dose is low enough that it's not putting you over the daily upper limit. Please check with your physician if you have any concerns.

Can the products be taken with prescription medication?

Caffeine will not affect any prescription medication.

Bone Support contains vitamin K, which may interfere with the prescription drug Warfarin (Coumadin), a blood thinner. However, our products contain small dosages of nutrients within ranges that should not impact prescription medications. As a precaution though, we advise you to consult your physician for further information.

Is it safe to take all of your supplements together?

All three products are safe to be taken together, they don't negatively interact with one another. However, please be aware of the maximum dosage of Vitamin D3 being 20ug, as you will find Vitamin D3 in both Bone Support and Immune System. Again, our products come in low dosages, as to make it easier for you to administrate.

That being said, everyone's body is unique and responds differently to supplements. We would definitely recommend speaking with your doctor about interactions if you are taking any prescription medications.

I am pregnant / breastfeeding; can I take your products?

Caffeine is safe for pregnant and nursing women in small dosages, but consumption shall not exceed 100-200mg caffeine per day. Our dosages are low, with 15mg caffeine per film.

Bone Support, containing Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2, is completely safe for pregnant and nursing women.

Immune System contains three strong antioxidants; selenium, CoQ10, and resveratrol. Selenium is a crucial antioxidant both you and your baby-to-be need for the proper development of important systems in the body. However, since the use of CoQ10 and resveratrol by pregnant / nursing women are not studied, we do not recommend Immune System for pregnant or nursing women.
